Gene, Yes, in these cases I accept m/s, just as I vastly prefer it for wind speeds to the knot, and I will accept it in any field where it takes over. I am not opposed to it, I only fear that when the m/s is now adopted for all speeds today the BWMA, F2M and ACWM will have a field day as they will have been given a large amount of ammunition for their campaign. For me it is a case of winning the battle against ifp-ists first.
