Paul Ferdig asked in USMA 17699:

>Does anyone know if the couple of tiny North American French islands, just
>off the southern tip of Newfoundland I think, are now using the Euro? They
>were using the FF.

Euro coins became legal tender on January 1. That event started in the
French empire with Nouvelle Caledonie in the east, then to Kerguelen, then
France iteslf and finally to Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon and Cayenne (French
Guiana) as the day rolled on from east to west.
