        Nope. Litre (or liter) is listed in Table 6 of the brochure as a
"non-SI unit acceptable for use with the SI". Hectare and �ngstr�m (!!!)
are listed in Table 8 of the brochure as "other non-SI units currently
accepted for use with the SI" (note the word "currently"!). Micron is on
what I like to think of as one of the two "naughty lists", Table 10, as
"examples of other non-SI units" (note the lack of the phrase "accepted
for use" and the lack of the word "acceptable"!). The notes in the back
explicitly state that "micrometre" (micrometer) is to be used instead.
