Bill, You are right - but Joe is right aswell, it does not really matter ! I was simply amused by this discussion because in my book I refer to this famous "unit" : gallon (or liter) per flush. I know that both of you speak French : please find in attachment the relevant extract of the chapter devoted to the situation in the US. I hope you will enjoy it. Louis
