It worked here, because the other stations were able to see quickly what the
others were doing and to copy quicker.  In other industries, it may not work
this easy.  If certain companies are known to set standards and precedents
in their area of expertise, then of course we should concentrate on them.

BTW, how metric are these stations now?  Do they give all of their weather
Data in SI, or just some?  Elaborate!  I wonder how many anti-metric forces
are contacting them to stop.  In the eyes of a luddite, this is a perfect
opportunity to expose the world to FFU, and to show by example how well
America does using just FFU.
