Too bad for the Brits, then. They get the funky American spelling and the weird
ifp stuff.
Of course, it would be easier to sell NG on the idea of producing a metric
English language version if the UK were truly metric. The biggest psychological
barrier to making that "believable" to the NG editors is (I'll wager) the
continued use of miles on British roadways. Here's hoping Chris and the UKMA
(and allies) have some ideas on how that might be changed.
