But, are the metric lengths and diameters of the parts real metric or hidden
FFU?  Is 2.9 m just a metric way of expressing 9-1/2 feet, or is 2 .9 m the
intended length without any focus on FFU?  And the diameters in micrometres,
are they also rational numbers of hidden FFU.  Working in metric to hidden
FFU is the same as working in FFU.
