Yea, I know I am pretty much the loan wolf on this issue (at least on this 
forum).

The correlation will come if and when someone attempts mandatory metric 
legislation in the USA. Then the anti-metricationists will be parading the 
Metric Martyrs all over the country.

If that comes to pass, then I suspect that having the Metric Martyrs will 
help the anti-metricationists spread their "metric is bad" propaganda, 
which is why I think it may be a setback.
