2002-02-19 When I was in Calgary last year, all the foods in the deli counters were priced per hundred grams with no FFU equivalents. The only things I saw priced per pound with kilograms in tiny font, was things like apples and potatoes. Yet, they items were pre-packaged and you could not actually specify the weight. You bought the whole pack or nothing. So, the pound pricing was kind of meaning less.
Calgary seems to be more metric then Toronto. In Toronto, one finds the 591 mL version of the Colas. In Calgary, they do have the 600 mL variety.
