Concerning my proposed article on the teaching of SI to school children, Sandra Berger (NCTM Managing Editor for School Journals) has informed me that she will "channel it appropriately"!
At best, that means that it will be examined by members of the NCTM editorial staff, and then published. At worst, it has already been rejected for publication. Gene.
