I can't speak on behalf of other metric countries, but I strongly suspect that the situation is similar to it in SA. Besides, actually, I guess I've already commented on this before, but for the benefit of those who weren't here I'll just reiterate it again. Metric users do not have the habit of creating shortcuts for measurement values. We simply use it as is, i.e. cm is centimeter, mm is millimeter, etc. It seems to me that this is more of a cultural phenomenon in the US that sees the need to inundate us with thousands and thousands of acronyms for everything... ;-) Marcus Is your boss reading your email? ....Probably Keep your messages private by using Lycos Mail.
