        StarOffice 5.2 is also free and available from Sun 
   http://www.sun.com/staroffice/
via download or, for $35, on CD. It runs in Windows, Solaris unix, and
linux. You have great flexibility in setting parameters in metric or
non-metric units. Strangely, their rulers are divided into
quarter-centimeters, though.
