I appreciate Duncan's thorough response to my suggestion that we all identify ourselves better. However, what I meant to suggest was not a one time thorough biography, but an every-time but brief tag with the signature at the end of every email message. (That is what I have started doing.) While the quote from Duncan above is interesting to me, I don't think I'll remember it all the next time I read one of his messages. It would be better, I think, just to add "retired electrical engineer, living in western Canada" to his signature in every email message. No big deal, just a suggestion.
