By 2010 another giant trade block is coming, China & 10 ASEAN nations, and meanwhile Japan and Korea are planning to join in the group. This will bring a trade block of more than 1.8 billion people and a market bigger than any other.
I hope they bring SI only legislation. Should be better if they join with EU. Also China, Japan & Korea use ISO 8601 date format and if ASEAN agrees to this, they may push this into Europe also.
