The 'Standard Highways Signs' pattern book for the latest US Federal
Manual of Uniforn Traffic Control Devices ('MUTCD') is now on-line and
has a *LOT* of entries with metric usage standards. Right now, the FWHA
is soliciting commentary on their metric usage. Just be forwarned, they
are in several pretty beefy .pdf files. Also, the site may be going
down for a couple of days next week to fix bugs, so be patient if it is
not available when you try it.
