I find that an unacceptable attitude. It suggests that we should feel free to ruin our planet and to hell with our children and grandchildren who will inherit it when we're gone. Sorry, but I, personally, reject that point of view. If I have no concern for the welfare of future generations, I certainly would not be a part of the movement to adopt the metric system, either.
