This was a most excellent and well-balanced argumentation by Jim. Well done, my
friend.

I'd just like to pitch in with a small observation. Since we already seem to have
found economically viable alternatives to fossil fuel I keep wondering why not much is
being done. True, infrastructure costs for change could be huge. However, given the
grave concerns of our global societies with our environment shouldn't we expedite the
introduction, implementation and use of such new technologies, i.e. sooner rather than
later?

One typical example that comes to my mind is the fuel cell, which seems has already
proven itself. I sincerely wished we'd start seeing more cars available in the market
for ordinary folks. I certainly wouldn't think twice in buying one. I'm actually
holding off on exchanging my old bouncing Betty in the hopes that one such vehicle
will hit the market soon...

Cheers,

Marcus
