Hello All, I just found a current use of the decimeter (dm) in a place I never expected! I was looking through this web site http://kalx.berkeley.edu/recept/tanttips.htm that has tips on improving FM radio reception with the common folded dipole antennas made from 300 ohm twin-lead wire. The (American) author not only advises twisting the downleads once every decimeter to avoid the need for a matching transformer and coaxial cable lead, he even gives distances to radio stations in his area (Berkeley, CA) in kilometers! Maybe he works for CalTrans, eh? :-) -- Jason
