You've got to be more sly about this. I get away with murder using metric in
an everyday context, partly because I've learned to think between the two
systems - so imperial just becomes slang for round metric units - but also
because I simply use it without making a big deal of it, and act confused
when someone asks for a translation.

Don't make an obvious target of yourself.  It's more fun being the fly than
the ointment.

I was given this by a co-worker yesterday out of a trade journal.

Take it for what it is worth!  I feel it makes a mockery of those of us who
do use metric and have changed.  Others may feel different.
