Most deli items do have their prices listed per 100 g. Some stores also list the price per pound and some do not. In my experience most people order deli items in grams. Produce, other hand, nearly always has the price listed per pound (in large print), with the price per kg in very small print. This applies to loose items as well as packaged items. The loose items are weighed out in kg.
