Today I found an ad by the British company Legendary in an ad in a Dutch newspaper, in which the size of TV (not computer) screens was expressed in the wrong unit. I sent them this message,
Han Historian of Dutch Metrication, Nijmegen, The Netherlands Sir, This Monday I read your ad in the Dutch newspaper Trouw. You use the euro, and I thank you for doing it. However, we also use the metric system and the sizes of TV screens are measured in centimetres, not inches.
