2002-04-17 Will you girls quit your whining already! With my super fast cable modem, 676 kB is a 500 ms download and just over a second upload. And my 3 year old 550 MHz system seems to handle it just fine! What's your problem?
And that is real nice Bill, you go through the trouble to provide a link that is unclickable. As useless as tits on a bull. Also, the link doesn't take you directly to the article. You have to click on a few items, and when you get there, the picture with the caption is missing. The caption gave the metric value of the fuel consumption without any reference to mpg. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bill Potts" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "U.S. Metric Association" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, 2002-04-16 20:15 Subject: [USMA:19474] Re: Fwd: fuel economy site > This is really getting to be ridiculous, John > > The HTML message you just sent is 676 kilobytes in length. > > Your action represents netiquette at its worst. > > The following link (which may arrive fragmented) would have accomplished the > same thing: > http://www.cleveland.com/autos/plaindealer/index.ssf?/xml/story.ssf/html_sta > ndard.xsl?/base/business/10189496011215120.xml. > > Bill Potts, CMS > Roseville, CA > http://metric1.org [SI Navigator] > > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of > kilopascal > Sent: Tuesday, April 16, 2002 15:13 > To: U.S. Metric Association > Subject: [USMA:19467] Re: Fwd: fuel economy site > >
