What you say is true when comparing vehicles that load the same number
of tires by the same amount. But semi-trailers carry much more than my
Dodge Caravan does. Even when correcting for the number of tires, I bet
I still lose the load contest. Don't forget that the footprint (width
times a factor for the tire diameter) has a bearing on this matter, too.
