I took a look at the Wall Street Journal website. It requires registration so I can't read what they have to say. I don't register on websites just to read news. For economic news I occasionally look at the Financial Times www.ft.com or the sister publication the Economist (which I often buy in paper form) http://www.economist.com I like the Economist for the snapshot articles relating to all parts of the world and the physical size is convenient for travel. It mentions metrication comparatively often.
