Bill, I believe you mean to say "apply the *same prefix*" to the only "SI unit" of a particular quantity; i.e., for your example, "apply the *same prefix* exa" to the only "SI unit" of length (meter) for several astronomical distances: > > 0.040 Em to nearest star from the Sun > 220.
