Great! The only non-SI unit that I happened to notice was the rating of
the motor in "h.p.". By comparison, SAE's magazine would report
everything in SI (including the power) but would then include
parethetically the non-SI equivalents. By extreme contrast, I leafed
through a complimentary copy of Mechanical Engineering that I received
yesterday. I felt as if I had stepped back into the 1950s and probably
wouldn't have been surprised to turn a page and see a column on "Slick
Slide Rule Tricks".
