I would like to add a small correction... The reference to 'Great Britain' is insufficient in scope because it excludes Northern Ireland (which uses the same currency as GB). There are few circumstances in law, politics, or social discussion where GB is the appropriate term. In general you can eliminate from written text the terms 'GB' and 'Great Britain'. It should be 'United Kingdom' or 'UK' when on websites etc. Terms such as 'British' and 'Britain' are usually incorrect but often tolerated in colloquial speech. This is for a variety of reasons but includes the clumsy nature of terms such as 'UK citizen'. I know that the geopolitical arrangement is confusing and even locals make mistakes (particularly the English). -- Terry Simpson Human Factors Consultant [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.connected-systems.com Phone: +44 7850 511794
