Dear All,

I have now had a chance to look up the quotation from Lewis Carroll that
refers to the definition of words.

"When I use a word," Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone. "It means
just what I choose it to mean - neither more or less."

"The question is," said Alice, "whether you can make words mean so many
different things."

"The question is," said Humpty Dumpty, "which is to be master - that's all."

Lewis Carroll (Charles Lutwidge Dodgson) (1832 - 1898)

I think it's still relevant to the way we write definitions in SI.
