Euronews reported both planes were flying at 12,000
meters. They also reported the Tupolev was at
the
wrong altitude and was descending to correct it. The Boeing apparently had
a TCAS warning and
dived
for collision avoidance. I wonder if the Tupolev had an altimeter
calibrated in meters, and if that
contributed to this tragedy.
