You'd think so, wouldn't you ? Unfortunately, there has been absolutely no coordination between the depts on this. The Dept of Environment had nothing to do with regulations on car odometers, and the Dept of Transport took the view that they weren't going to change any regulations until the Dept of Environment announced the change in road signs.
