Well, there was one dairy company that did market a 3 L milk container.  It
was Weggman (sp?) in New York State.  We also had the same container here in
Ohio.  I forgot the company that was using it, but the containers were
available at the local super K-Mart.  The last time I checked, a few months
back, they were still on the shelves.

However, when they first came to this area, they received bad press.  The
product cost more than a gallon and it appeared to be a rip off.  Now, the
price is lower that the gallon, but the product size has not spread.  Can't
say why.

But, if this 3 L size ever had taken off, it would have replaced the gallon
size completely.
