A minor item: just finished the latest issue of Reason last night, which is the largest-circulation magazine promoting a Libertarian perspective. Circulation is about 120,000, I believe. There were three different places where measurements were used, and each was pure metric -- no colloquial conversions. I don't recall ever seeing metric used in the magazine before, so I think there may have been some editorial shift there. I left the magazine at home so I can't give you more details, but if anyone wants them let me know and I'll post them tomorrow. Jim
