Joe Reid;
        It is good of you to show us a little nonsense. The fact that the
watt is the SI unit for all power is not relevant to the hour.

I quote from Z234.1-00 CSA International
      in part
            6.14.1 The watthour (W.h) and its multiples are widely used
            as a measure of electrical energy consumption.
            Mechanical energy should be expressed in kilojoules (kJ)
            or megajoules (MJ).

I quote from SI 10-1997 in part
            3.3.2.5 Energy
            The kilowatthour is widely used as a measure of electrical
            energy. This unit should not be introduced into any new
            fields, and eventually should be replaced.

Indeed, the TWh is an improvement over oil equivalents. If TWh is what I
have to see to get rid of oil equivalents and quads, I will take it.
