It's good to be back. Last week, I received the latest issue of "Metric Today", and I must urge US metrication advocates everywhere to read Pat Naughtin's discussion in that issue. Nothing that I have read since I took up this issue in 1974 comes as close to a societal guide for US metrication as these remarks do. Any future US Metric Board member should take his article, frame it in their offices, and consult it daily.
