Terry, thanks for the suggestion, the above would be significantly smaller than my 
humble attempt.  Please notice the following.  In SI the prefixed unit IS powered to 
whatever power is in question.  Therefore, when you say 'cubic femtometer' you're 
actually saying: (10^-15)^3 cubic meters!!!

The reason I used picoliter was because this prefixed unit has already made inroads 
into the computer industry for the size of bubble jet dots, and unfortunately this 
would NOT have an exact equivalent in SI for the following reason: We do not have a 
10^-5 prefix.  Please note:

1 picoliter = 10^-15 cubic meter = (10^-5)^3 cubic meter
