You could argue and make a big stink with the
manager that since it was priced as 0.25 �, you have a legal right to purchase
it at the posted price. It is false advertisement if they don't sell it to
you at the posted price. And that BS about you should know what they meant
would not hold up in court. All you'd have to say is "I thought they were
running a special". It isn't your fault if they can't do it right.
Having to sell the product to you at a loss should be construed as a punishment
for being stupid.
Isn't it a shame that we live in a society that
rewards ignorance and punishes correctness? Remember it is the fit that
survive, the weak and ignorant eventually go under.
