Some years ago when I was in Korea and Taiwan, the same bottles
were labelled as 19 L. There was no reference to gallons on them.
It's too bad someone outside the US can't come up with a bottle that will fit
the dispenser that will hold 20 L.
no reference to gallons was here made
too
The capital L is preferred over l or the "script l", as the l can be
mistaken for a 1. Some people don't leave a full space between
the number and the symbol, and thus one litre may appear like the number
eleven, depending on the font used. The use of the capital L eliminates
that problem.
I know that, that's why I wrote the L text

Subject: [USMA:22180] Water kegs for
dispensers
hi,
you know those big water kegs upside down in the dispensers.
It seems that this one more US dominated market. Those kegs, I have
noticed today, have a volume of 18,9 L which equals 5 gal (US).
has someone a reason.
btw, L is getting more and more popular in germany!+
