It's not whining to point out that the new $1 coins are too unfriendly to use.
Despite the smooth edges, they still feel exactly like a quarter in one's
pocket.
I'll start using $1 coins when they make them the size of the Eisenhower $1
coin again.
Odd. The US and Canadian coins are identical in size and mass. Our neighbors to the north have no trouble whatever with the loonie, and it's now part of the popular culture.
The large dollars were just way too big and heavy. Imagine a load of those in your pocket.
Funny, the nickel and the quarter aren't that different in size, and no one squawks about that.
