Dear Metric Buffs:

Due to tie capacity restrictions, the
200cm x 300cm panel design has an allowable
concrete pressure of 1140 pounds per square foot
to maintain a 2:1 safety factor.
gang size determines the number of clamps required

I found this quote this morning. After I stopped laughing I thought I
might send it to the worlds' set of greatest cynics.

I defy anyone to know what 1140 pounds per square foot really looks like.

Next time you are talking about imperial ask the imperial specialist what
the unit weight is for water? leaves them stumped most times and then
explain how easy it is in metric.

By the way a barley corn is one third of an inch.
