2002-10-16 I have had AWS WeatherBug on my system for over a year. It too displays the temperature in the taskbar at all times, as long as you are connected to the internet. Since I have a cable hook-up, that is all of the time. It, of course, defaults to FFU, but I set it for degrees Celsius. You have a choice to select which weather station you wish to receive data from. A school 4 km from my home is the usual site, but it is not active at all times. The next closest location is the airport.
Right now it is 10C @ 18:20 h EDT.
