Heh...I was sitting right at the corner of road course turn one. <grin>

One thing I did find annoying was that the Indianapolis Motor Speedway gave regulations completely in ifp.
With the amount of foreign visitors, I felt that the statements like "coolers should be no larger than 14 inches by 14 inches" kinda useless. There were other things like this throughout the event that bugged me as far as metric vs ifp.

They did however report both F and C for temperatures on the boards and C was in the first position. They also reported distances in km and miles...and if I remember right km was also in the first position.

Otherwise, Indy is pretty gung-ho 'merican measurements.

Yes, yes... It was indeed a much better coverage than what I get through Speedvision. The idiots over there continue to pound (IRK) us with ifp crap with only an occasional metric number here and there.

On the other hand, did you notice the funny "LTRS" abbreviation when they were showing the pit stop data?... He, he... Quite amusing.

The only thing I didn't like one bit was the fact that they pulled the plug on the analog signal I was watching with my analog BUD (Big Ugly Dish). I couldn't see the entire race because of this! !$#%$!@$
