My pleasure, John.  The text says:

'Actually Americans themselves joke about this and many of them refer to their own 
measurement system as FFU (Fred Flintstone Units).  But this "joke" is costing them a 
lot, and it price is increasing every year.'

Now, how the heck they learned of that term there I have no clue!...  Perhaps it 
trickled down via the internet's search engine usage, who knows?...

PS: I'll try to contact this journalist and see if I can somehow stir some action on 
his employer to either campaign against ifp or be "on the alert" for matters involving 
this isse.
