Never do it! I agree with Marcus. It will corrupt and probably kill SI in the
end. The metricated inch we have at present, the one of 25.4 mm has already
boosted ifp enormously and allowed it to be used in high tech applications.
Napoleon did it as well, almost causing the end of metric. Use modules of 25
mm, 30 cm allright, but call them 25 mm modules, 30 cm modules, but never, ever
commit the fatal error of calling them inch or foot.
