What is the theme? Does "metric second = 43.2% of SI-second (s)" mean the increased interval of the SI-second?. This would also mean to have 200000-metric seconds to replace 86,400s during the day&night i.e. date change.Let us THINK positive and ignore minor mis-interpretations to 'confuse list'

Huh! You lost me on this one! I thought there was only one definition of
the second. I didn't know that the second was increased by 43 % when SI was
established. I guess that was done to satisfy all those people who
complained there just isn't enough time in a day.
