Interesting.  If people recall I have vehicled here sometime ago a suggestion/proposal 
for us to create a special prefix for 10 to minus 4 for the computer industry.  I 
called that "ty" (for typo).  

I also said that it could be regarded as a unit in itself (1 ty = 1 x 10^-4 m) (like 
the japanese 'Q' thing).  Perhaps there would be one extra application for the ty 
after all...
