We need to mount a letter writing campaign to the NWS, to elected officials
and to the media in support of using kPa in reporting atmospheric pressure
to the public using:
1. Safety
2. Uniformity with other applications and industries in common use by
the public
as the key points.
The NWS does not use mmHg. Instead NWS uses inches of Hg, hPa and/or
millibars. Canada uses kPa in reporting atmospheric pressure to the public.
