Nat and all:
May I join USMA and lovers of 'metrication - the SI way' and pray
Senator Bill Frist (Republican, Tennessee) shall provide his umbrella in promoting metric implementation in US and save later expenditure on the tax-payer pocket.
If I have his E-mail ID, I can mail him my METRIC X-mass and wishes for New Year! My congratulations to usma.
My regrads to him,

Today Senator Bill Frist (Republican, Tennessee) will almost certainly be
elected the new Senate Majority Leader. He could be a valuable and powerful
ally to our cause.

Senator Frist is also a medical doctor (a heart surgeon). Being a
physician, he would understand how recording all patient masses and heights
in kilograms and centimeters would prevent needless deaths from under-doses
or over-doses of medications. Also, he once owned a medical firm that was
fined for billing fraud. Supporting a metric patient data agenda would be a
way for him to at least partially "rehabilitate" his honor as a doctor. --
