I see their products all of the time and like you said I have never seen anything from them in hard metric.  I will check out the two you mention next time I go to the super-market.

But, if it is a start, they have a long way to go.  Check out their website at http://www.goya.com

You can see the site in both English and Espaol.  I suggest you check out the recipe (recetas en Espaol) page and you will see it is FFU hell.

Someone who speaks Spanish fluently needs to contact them and play dumb to not knowing FFU and to provide spanish language recipes in metric.

Subject: [USMA:24208] Goya goes metric?

> Goya Foods, from Secaucus, New Jersey, produces a wide variety of ethnic
> foods and ingredients. Up till now I have not seen any in hard-metric
> packages.
> I saw in the store last night two different Goya products that are now
> metric: several types of cooking oil in 250 mL and 500 mL bottles, and
> several spice packages in 40 g packages.
> They don't do metric very well (the spice label is "1.41 ozs - 40 grms"),
> but at least they are starting to do it.
> As an aside, the spice box has some of the most over-the-top marketing
> hype I've seen in a while: "Inside this box you'll find what good cooks
> have always dreamed of, an absolutely foolproof way to make everything
> taste not just good, or even great, but sensational--every time. It's
> Sazon Goya, a special mix of seasonings from Goya. A little magic in
> little foil packets."
> Ingredients: MSG, salt, garlic, cumin.
