2002 December 24 In 24209 Zotter says get a famous runner to, as I call it, "go metric".
Some years ago I spoke to Frank Shorter (Olympic marathon
winner) about metric. He said he runs races in both miles
and kilometres. He runs easily in either, he does not care
which. He had no interest in promoting metric. I did not
get his help.
So, somebody, give him a try. He lives here in Boulder.
