Dear Jim, The other day I was reading a popular text that contained a unit that described the energy needed for various sports. I translated the unit the authors used into SI as 'joules per hour per kilogram or J/h/kg'.
Knowing that the use of two slashes is not best SI practice, I considered J�h^-1�kg^-1, but it looks clumsy especially for a popular (read sports) audience. What would you recommend in these circumstances? Cheers, Pat Naughtin LCAMS Geelong, Australia
